New Shoes!

Yes, I am starting Addison young. She loves new shoes. Just like her big sisters. Poor Jade I think he has 4 pairs of shoes, and his girls have about 40 between the three of them from size 4 to 11. And if I can say so myself (and I do) this little lady has some good style.

Fun Summer Dresses!

Okay, so I love these dresses. They turned out soooo cute. The pink one is for Macy and the other two are for Addie. Macy is sleeping right now. I know that when she wakes up in the morning she is going to love it. She loves things that are girly and pink. I am going to work on Hanna's tomorrow. Hanna's looks like Macy's but is purple. Addison's I love. They are reversible. They were so fast to sew together. About 15 min. I still need to finish the little bloomers that match them. She looks so cute when I tried them on her. The best part is that they only cost $4.00 to make.

This is a view of the back. I love that when she has her bloomers on you can see them when she sits. They should be nice and cool for the summer.

I will try to get some pictures of Addison in them in the next few days.

Strawberry Jam

Okay, so I know I have better things to do with my time like cleaning but today I just wanted to do something fun that is not an everyday kind of thing. I got this idea that I would love to make Strawberry Jam with the girls. To tell you the truth I think that I am trying to keep myself busy well Jade is out of town again. He might be back in a week and a half or so. So today the girls and I went to the zoo again, did the macy school-nap-pick up macy thing, then started the jam. After about four phone calls to Susan (my sister) and a lot of reading online I think that the girls and I have done pretty good for ourselfs. Hanna and Macy helped cut the strawberrys and Addison helped eat a pound of them well I was looking things up online. She loves strawberrys. So now all I have to do is add something cute to the outside and they are set to give as fun spring gifts. It was fun, fast and easy to do. Now all I need is some bread.
I think that everyone should try something new every now and again. You never know how much fun you can have till you try.

Macy was so proud of herself.
She is going to take some into school and share it for snack.

Strawberry Jam
6 cups mashed strawberrys
1/4 cup lemon juice
One pack of pectin
7 cups sugar

Mash strawberrys mix in lemon juice. Add to pot. Keep stiring the whole time. Turn to high heat and add pack of pectin. Mix till rolling boil. Add sugar and bring back to rolling boil. Boil for 1 min. Turn heat off let sit for a few min. If using jars heat them in really hot water so they don't crack when you add the jam. You can find all kinds of info online about it so have fun. This recipe made 8 half pint jars and 4 pint jars. Susan say that freezer jam is really easy. I am going to try that next. Wish me luck.

C is for Cookie

We were getting ready for church on sunday and I asked the girls to go and get a snack for their church bags. I go into the kitchen and Addison had picked hers out of the snack spot. She was all ready trying to open them the best way that she could. Needless to say she was a little unhapy when I put them back and told her she could not take them to church.

But once she did get them she was so happy. Look at this face. Sometimes it is hard to tell this one no.

I had a glass of milk and she had to dip every bite of cookie into the glass and her whole hand.

If you have girls you have been there!

So cute and funny. This is jade every day.

A day at the zoo

It was so nice out last week. So Jade and I wanted to take the girls to the zoo for a few hours. It was so nice. This was the first time that Addison was able to get down and run around at the zoo. She loved it. I loved the nap that she took when we got home. We stayed on the one side of the zoo saw the polar bears and had a nice lunch. It is very nice that spring has sprung!

Jade, Macy & Hanna
(we did not want to get Addie out yet because once you do you can't go back)

Sew easy!

Hanna's Quilt
1. Cut fabric in to strips.
2. Sew together
3. Fold fabric and sew top and bottom together inside out.

4. You will end up with a tube.

5. Then cut into six inch strips.
6. Well in stripes line them up and sem rip top edge from first block .
7. Next stripe sem ripe top of second block and so on till all stripe are done.
What you end up with is all of your blocks the same size and lined up at an angle like this.
8. Just sew together and you are done.

The web address for better instructions is posted above my playlist music.

It is done!

Addie has to be in every picture. I think that she has super baby hearing and hears the camera open and comes running. Well it has taken almost two years to finish but it is done. I started this for Macy oct of the year I was due with Addie. Well with all that happened with my c-section and all of the fun that followed of going back to the hospital when she was 5 days old then staying for 2 week. Then buying a house and moving with a six week old. I was not able to find the time to finish it. Jade says that I have been sitting around eating BON BON'S. He knows me so well. The sad part it that all I had to do was put the binding on and then it would be done. So here it is. Macy picked out the my little pony fabric ( Aunt Amber should love this. Jade kind of gets a little twitch when he see them thanks to Amber.) She loves it and that is what matters. The bad part is hanna wants one now so here I go again.

Easter Dresses

Well here they are the Easter dresses. I think they turned out really good. I know that the girls loved them. I did not get a chance to get a picture of Sdy's but I love the color of hers. At one in the morning when I was adding eye hooks I did not love them so much. I do have to thank my mom for help with the buttons.

Look at that wonderful pleat. What is really amazing is that I was able to make that pleat 4 times!!!

Paige's Dress
Addie and Paige's dress only took about 20 min to sew. So fast, cheap and cute.

My Addie's Dress.
Don't you love that all three of the girls match?

The best thing in life!

Any mom or dad knows how much more you love your kids when they are a sleep. I think that it is because they don't talk when they are a sleep. The girls and I ran to the movie store and came home to find Addison sleeping on her daddy. SOOOOO cute! She got up there on her own and fell asleep. For her when it is bed time she is ready and willing to go. She covers her head up and is out. She is my most sweet one.
